What’s the difference between Partial Planning and Full-Service Planning?
Wedding Planning and Coordination may be referred to as partial planning. It is ideal if you’ve already started planning, but need help hiring some vendors, working through the budget and finalizing details. Design is not included with partial planning. We assist with vendor coordination, timeline creation, and day-of logistics for this service as well. Full-Service Planning includes everything from design to day-of coordination, theme development to vendor management, planning and event execution. We can discuss which package best fits your needs during your free consultation.
Which locations do you serve?
We are located in the Hudson Valley and proudly serve New York, New Jersey and beyond. We travel for events and help with the planning, logistics, design and vendor coordination to make any location a success. Travel fees do apply.
How far in advance should I book your services?
We recommend booking event management 3-6 months in advance, but we’re always happy to help with last-minute planning if we have availability! Feel free to lock us in earlier than this time frame as well. Wedding Planning & Coordination, as well as Full Service Planning, are typically booked at least 12 months out. The earlier you reach out, the more time we have to bring your vision to life. If you’re on a time crunch, contact us and we can lead you in the right direction. What is the difference between Month of Coordinator, Day of Coordinator, and Event Management?
You may hear these terms used interchangeably. We believe that “Event Management” better encompasses this role, as the scope of work lasts longer than a day or month. We begin working with you in the months leading up to your wedding. The focus is on finalizing details, ensuring all logistics are in place, and making sure everything goes smoothly on the big day. While you’ve done the planning, we step in to manage everything in the final stretch.
What is the difference between wedding planning and wedding design?
Wedding planning focuses on logistics, things like budgeting, timelines, and securing the right vendors. Wedding design is all about the look and feel of your day (think theme, color palette, florals, stationery, signage, and overall style). Both work hand-in-hand to bring your vision to life!
Can I still be involved in the wedding process?
Absolutely! At Forever After Events, we adapt to suit your needs. We love working with couples who want to be hands-on. You’ll always have the final say, and we’ll work together every step of the way. If you prefer a more hands off experience, thats okay too! Our business is equipped to handle both scenarios. Our goal is to make your vision come to life while taking the stress off your shoulders, no matter your level of involvement.

Do you offer wedding coordination for smaller weddings or elopements?
Yes, we offer services tailored to smaller weddings and elopements as well! We can help with planning, logistics, design and vendor recommendations to ensure your day is just as beautiful and stress-free as a larger event.
How much does wedding planning cost?
The cost of wedding planning depends on the level of service you choose and the specific needs of your wedding. We’ll work together to find a package that fits your budget and vision. During our initial consultation, I’ll listen to your vision and provide a quote based on your goals. You can expect event management to start at $1,800, partial planning to begin at $6,000 and full service $10,000. We also offer planning hours which can support you with planning, design, or vendor related tasks. Planning hours cost $100 per hour and come in bundles of 5, 10, 15, or 20 hours.
How do I know if a wedding planner is worth the investment?
If you want peace of mind, less stress, and actually want to enjoy your engagement instead of feeling overwhelmed, a wedding planner is 100% worth it! We handle the details, solve problems before they happen, and make the process fun, so you can focus on the moments that matter. A skilled planner is like a good insurance policy. Weddings are expensive and why wouldn’t you hire a planner to protect your investment?
